WCC aviation Company had only two hobby aircrafts to begin with in 2005. Now it's got a fleet of 30. It had zero-airport facility. Now it has one airfield. Its expansion program started as a partnership for 2. In 2 years it has grown into a big consortium pooling the expertise and experience of 3 leading flying schools of the country and the world-class facilities and immense resources and international linkages of World Citi Colleges. It has opened a new school, the WCC Aeronautical College , specializing in the new learning area of aircraft maintenance technology. And the student population of its flying school component has grown 30-fold, from the initial 2 Filipinos to the current more than 60 dominated by nationals of neighboring Southeast Asian and South Asian Nations and of faraway Africa.
And yet our sense of accomplishment no longer just derives from the growth of our flying schools. We feel doubly rewarded in having been given the chance to grow into a sizeable holding company engaged in the whole range of services in the aviation business Southeast Asia-wide: charter flights, airport operation, airport handling (FBO) services, accommodation, aircraft and parts sales, and community outreach.
