Sun aviation, Inc. was founded in 1975 as a proprietorship Gregg International, by Dr. Werner E. Gregg. After organizing the international department for King Radio (Honeywell, Olathe, Kansas) Dr. Gregg received the President's E Award for excellence in exporting.
After urging from Ed King and help from the Memphis Group, Sun Aviation, Inc. was formed to support King radio distributors with King product's outside the U.S. and Canada. Since then Sun Aviation has grown into a multi-million dollar company with customers worldwide.
In 1997 Dr. Gregg's son, Jeff Gregg, was appointed as president of Sun Aviation, Inc. Working on the success of Sun Aviations international sales success, Jeff focused on developing sales in the domestic market in 2003.
Developing dealerships and distributor rights for many aviation products, Sun Aviation has solidified its presence in the general aviation market as a company known for its customer service and large inventory of products.
Sun Aviation, Inc. was ISO 9001 certified in 2007 to meet the requirements for Quality Management Systems to ensure that the products and service you receive from Sun Aviation conforms to this system.
