Loutzavia was founded by Maria Loutzis in 2003. Maria has qualified with a National Diploma in Cost and Management accounting and was also a well known figure in the recruitment industry, which has assisted in growing Loutzavia to the next level.
At first she focussed on establishing a professional pilot shop to supply pilots travelling through Wonderboom airport with all the equipment they require.
Maria was subsequently joined by her husband Jannie in 2004. Jannie has more than 19 years of flying experience of which more than 12 years is flight training with more than 6000 hours of flying experience. Jannie also qualified as a Grade 1 flight instructor and was appointed as a Designated Flight Examiner A1A by the South African Civil aviation Authority.  Jannie’s initial involvement was to establish an aircraft sales division.
Within a year Loutzavia opened a Flight training division - popular demand by the aviation industry. The initial focus was on advanced training, but in addition to our advanced training we also realized there was a tremendous need for ab-initio training.  The flight training division started with 2 aircraft and has grown to a fleet of 17 aircraft.
We are proud to say that we have trained pilots of the highest standard due to our well structured training programme, highly skilled instructors and prestine aircraft.
Loutzavia is now an organisation that is dealing with virtually every aspect within the aviation industry. Loutzavia now offers flight training of the highest standard, they offer the industry with the best equipment, they offer an air charter services to the executive and leisure customer and they are assisting clients nationwide with the sale or purchase of aircraft and they also offer high quality aircraft utilisation and management services to the aviation community.
